  So, the week at BTAC was going on as scheduled, despite the legal troubles thanks to the over-bearing Commander-in-Chief's ceaseless quest to make the trans people disappear permanently. Being in Texas, predominantly a red-voting state with its own anti-trans issues, it's never easy to be exist as we are sans strings attached. Nevertheless, the fight continues on. Friday has arrived, the night after yet another lengthy Black Trans International Pageant went into the wee hours. I went to sleep, not knowing who the winner was, or how much I cared less about it. As it turned out, the new Ms. Black Trans International winner just happen to be a friend of mine...Latonia Love, from Jackson, MS. I congratulated her when I got the chance. Keep in mind (if I didn't already mentioned it in the last blog) I have only attended the event since my inaugural visit to BTAC, in 2019. Return to Buc-ee's (Part 2)

One year earlier, I had made my first-ever trip to the wildly popular convenient store/gas station, Buc-ee's. This Lake Jackson,TX-based franchise has gained a massive popularity due to its enormous size and various range of snacks and novelty items...plus, they make their own food, including pizza, bakery, beef jerky, and especially their own mouth-watering brisket sandwiches. They take a HUGE piece of brisket and chop it up AS YOU WATCH them prepare a bunch of brisket burgers, brisket burritos, and sliced BBQ pork sandwiches as big as a softball, or your fist.  I wanted to get one SO bad, however my friends went to eat a "free" breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express as we drove into Texas last year. The usual crap. I should also mention about how we drove from Milwaukee/Rockford 17 hours just to get there on that Sunday morning. Give Crap A Chance

I really don’t know where to begin with this. We have seen major turmoil in Israel between the Israelites and Palestinians, Ukraine's problems with Russia, and let's not forget the plane crashes in the past week, especially the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17, shot down by Russian missles in eastern Ukraine. That airline is already gone through some hell.  You do remember this spring they had that plane going from Singapore to Bejing that crash landed somewhere in the Indian Ocean. To date, that sucker is still in Davy Jones' Locker. Then you add the recent crisis with all these immigrant children from Central America entering the USA illegally. Can you believe all these Republicans, who have flat out shown their extreme hatred for President Obama since he took office back in 2009, have started talking about impeaching him?
