Reflections of 2013

So folks, we are only a few days from Christmas and the end of 2013. This will obviously be the last time I'll erect a blog about what kind of year we all had and how it reflected through my eyes. You would have to be quite dumb not to think a lot can happen in only 365 days. I will save you all the grief and pain about how my year has turned out. Just go back and read all of the detailed blogs that were posted and you'll know everything!

Should you not be one of those individuals who aren't frequent readers to my simple commentaries, why aren't you? All I do is yak about my life as a would-be transgendered woman, or pursuing that goal. 2013 was no exception. I let my hair out more, routinely paint my nails and attending my church with an occasional splash of makeup on my face. As you can see by the picture here, I am getting better with my makeup as well. Now as for my hair, I am thankful I just happen to have a hot comb at my disposal. This is why I recently purchased a new hairpiece from Especially Yours that blends my hair with the wig wonderfully. Observe the pics here:

Mariah, my longtime roommate, knows all too well I hit it out of the ball park with this selection. Only cost me under $20 after discount. The curls do me well! I will say the wig also came with a headband. Another plus is that my friend from college sent me some clothes she didn't need anymore (like above). She knows where to send the clothes her parents buy her! It'll look good for my wardrobe. They are more for springtime, however, my ass does need to lose some weight to make these clothes fit better. Then there's the issue with my size 14 feet...another story for another time!

I am seeing myself in the mirror looking more like a female everyday. My eyebrows are definitely arched a bit. The hair, of course, defines a would-be diva! The goals that I hope to achieve in a few years I can only hope and pray becomes a reality. You could think this is the easiest part, but it's not even close. In 2014, Kayleah's Year Of Greatness will be a memorable one.
