2017 Quickie

Forgive me for not posting a blog, my fellow fans of which there are none. Just been busy with driving around Rockford in routinely busted-up cab with well over 100,000 miles on them. 
Since my video commentary dismissing now-President Donald Trump's victory and the increasing population that hates him, I made a decision that has paid dividends.....
Yep, I now have microbraids in my hair! And ENJOYING it!!

Maybe God wanted me to eventually discover my womanhood. I do believe in positive omens in this world. There just happened to be signs for which way the Lord wants us to go. You just have to listen. For example, the motto of the United Church of Christ tells us that "God is still speaking". In my case, I hope that I am still listening when He talks to all of us. He gets to communicate with us in a way that we "get it". As you may recall in an earlier blog I posted some time ago, I had wondered what my late mother would say about her only son becoming her third daughter. Should you take a closer look at a picture of her primal years side by side a recent picture of me, you may see some resemblances around the nose, eyes and mouth region. October Story, 2013 Version

                                         It’s nearly the middle of my favorite month, October.  This normally means two things to me: Halloween, and of course, my birthday.  I’ll still be a giddy sumbitch when it comes to getting my scare on.  It’s usually more funny when you scare somebody else than the other way around, which has rarely happened.  Last year, I got to attend a Trunk or Treat gathering at my church. This is a safer way to do your trick-or-treating around Halloween.  Kids still get to dress up as who they desire, remaining in the church parking lot so their parents can keep an eye on them. I will admit that I personally never got to do any trick-or-treating when I was a kid.
